Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your planner, homework, timetable, attendance, flashcards and progress live on your phone and work offline. Only the AI features need internet and a free account.
Is it right for my school or course?
It covers middle school to postgraduate in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and India, international curricula like IB and Cambridge, and full-time prep for exams such as SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, JEE and NEET. You pick your country and level when you set it up.
Which languages can the AI explain in?
English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Indonesian and Hindi, plus Hinglish for students in India. You can change it any time in your profile.
How much AI do I get for free?
Free accounts get 5 AI credits every day. A doubt, a photo question, revision notes, a practice quiz or a set of flashcards each use one, and long PDFs use one per ~50 pages. You also get 3 Tutor mode answers a month for extra-detailed explanations. Pro includes 30 credits a day and Ace 80.
Will the AI just give me answers?
It shows the working step by step, checks its answer and says when it isn't sure, so you can learn the method. Tutor mode goes further: the idea behind the question, the reason for each step, common mistakes and a question to check you understood.
What happens to my data?
Your study data stays on your phone. An account is only used for AI help, invites and payments. Photos and PDFs you send to the AI are processed and not stored. You can delete your account in the app at any time. Read the privacy policy.
How is my study time counted?
Focus sessions of 5 minutes or more count automatically. When you tick off a topic, Plannly asks how long it took, and you can add study you did away from the timer. Progress compares each day with your daily target and shows the time by subject.
Do the focus sounds need internet?
No. Rain, ocean, forest, campfire, calm music, soft piano and the noise sounds are made on your phone as they play, so they work offline, never repeat on a loop and don't make the app bigger.
Can I move my planner to a new phone?
Yes. Profile → Back up to a file saves everything (exams, topics, homework, timetable, flashcards and your progress). Open that file on the new phone with Restore. Automatic cloud sync is coming for Pro.
Which phones does it run on?
Android 7 and newer, with home-screen widgets. An iPhone version is planned.
